Description of the project:

The project presents a legal and institutional framework that will permit the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency to take action in areas of particular relevance for the environment. The project intends to improve and apply the national legislation that monitors the environment in general, and that, which regulates the management of solid wastes and the protected areas and the protection of marine ecosystems, in particular.
