Objective:
Establishment of a new natural park in the oasis of
Fayoum
 Description of the project:
The project is part of the
ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMME
addressed to strengthening the EEAA.
The activities focus on the
establishment of an administratively autonomous natural park,
that knows how to make the most of the floral and faunal
heritage of the area of Wady El-Rayan, even through forms of
responsible tourism.
In further details, the undertaken
activities include the completion of a managerial plan for the
protected area, the establishment of a center for visitors, the
preparation of training courses for the personnel in the field
of environmental protection and the publication and distribution
of informative material.
