Objective:

Construction of the new system of water flow purification and construction of the infrastructures of the new tannery district

Description of the project:

The project supports the action of the Ministry of Industry to relocate the existing tanneries from the area of Old Cairo to the area of Robaiky (around 40 km from Cairo in the direction of Suez), proposing the main following objectives:

1) Improvement of the environmental, health and social conditions of Cairo

2) Improving the quality and increasing the national production of tanned skins

3) Increasing the competitiveness of the national tannery industry
