Objective:
Enhancing
the capacity of the Kindergarten staff, NGO and concerned
institutions to deliver high quality children care services.
Description of the project:
The
project development objective is to provide a healthy
environment for the development of Egyptian children through the
enhancement of the capacity of the Kindergarten staff, NGO and
concerned institutions to deliver high quality children care
services in a sustainable way.
The main
expected results are:
·
Standard training modules and implementation methodology
developed and routinely used by Egyptian NGOs
·
An
outreach network of 20 qualified trainers in Cairo and in 3
governorates to implement, monitor and evaluate the standardized
training to KG staff.
·
The
staff (supervisors, directors and nannies) of over 1200
kindergartens in 3 governorates and Siwa has acquired, through
training and scholarships, Early Childhood Development knowledge
attitude and skills and have introduced them in their daily work
with children.
The staff of the provincial Motherhood and
Childhood departments in 3 governorates and in Siwa has
acquired Early Childhood Development knowledge, attitudes and
skills to supervise, monitor and provide effective assistance to
the kindergartens operated by the NGOs in their respective
governorates. |
