Description of the project: |
|
The project is part of a national program proposed by the
National Council for Motherhood and Childhood aiming at the
elimination of child labour through adopting a holistic approach
in tackling the problem. The project proposes concrete solutions
for supporting child workers and their families, engaging the
entire community in educational and social activities. The
intervention includes a component of economic support to the
families and, in particular, those headed by women. The
implementation of the project engages as well the local NGOs and
aims at the consolidation of the policies proposed at the
national level to eliminate child labour. |
