Objective:

Contributing to the improvement of health conditions in the areas of intervention of the project. Contributing to the process of formulation, definition and implementation of the Egyptian national health sector reform.

 

Description of the project:

In accordance with the general strategy of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, the program provides: technical assistance to the Ministry in the phases of formulation and implementation of health sector reform; technical assistance to the activities of training and orientation of the local health care personnel; definition of the tasks of the health care personnel in the field of reform.

The program is divided into three phases: the first two, which will last for six months, aim at identifying the needs and programming the activities of the project; the third phase (thirty months) will proceed towards the implementation of the programme.
